Design of a Discrete-domain Current Controller for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor with Active Damping

        Abstract:For the issues of increased current loop coupling and decreased control model accuracy in vector

control of permanent magnet synchronous motors(PMSMs)under low carrier ratio,a discrete domain controller

with active damping based on the discrete-domain control model of permanent magnet synchronous motors was

proposed. Experiments show that the discrete-domain controller with active damping outperforms traditional

continuous-domain current controllers in terms of current decoupling,tracking,and disturbance rejection,making it more suitable for motor control under low carrier ratio.
