Abstract:Rectifiers with small DC-link capacitors feature the advantages of low cost,high power density,and
small volume,showing significant application potential in aerospace,marine engineering,and other fields.
However,small DC-link capacitors provide weak DC voltage support,and sudden load changes can easily induce
large fluctuations in the DC-bus voltage. A small-capacitor rectifier power generation system was investigated.
Based on the instantaneous power conservation principle,the suppression mechanism of DC-bus voltage
fluctuations was analyzed. Combined with the power factor operation characteristics of the generator,a power feedforward compensation control strategy based on dynamic matching of the generator power factor was proposed based on the voltage-current dual-loop vector control,so as to suppress DC-bus voltage fluctuations caused by load switching of three-phase rectifiers. The proposed control strategy was validated through experiments. The results demonstrate that the proposed control strategy can effectively suppress DC-bus voltage fluctuations caused by sudden load changes,and significantly improve the dynamic response speed of the system.
